Inspired by art and culture of 19th century New York, brothers Daniel and Michael Casarella founded Barking Irons (19th Century slang for pistols). Each t-shirt design contains a strange look into the lifestyle and tone of the time featuring phrases like “on the bowery” which was the slang term on skid row for a going on a bender. Barking Irons T-shirts have a unique take a secret dark history of New York that raises questions with stark statements on American history while turning heads with intricate graphics.
