Parrot has been making damn cool drones for a while, but the new Bebop is easily the best one yet. Hi-def 1080p video recording. 14 megapixel fisheye lens. Built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Full on flight simulator style Skycontroller. Four antennas. Compatibility with first person goggles. 8GB built-in flash storage. 3-axes accelerometer. Emergency mode for immediate landing. Oh yeah, and it has an onboard flight computer too, so you can program drone routes with an overhead map. There’s even GPS and a “Return Home” function that will bring the Bebop back to where you launched it. Parrot is even throwing in some EPP hulls to use as bumpers if you plan on spying flying indoors. No word yet on final pricing or release date, but you’re probably safe asking Santa for one come Christmas.
