All black sneakers bring to mind bad fashion memories. Specifically, they remind us of working in a grocery store where we needed a pair to fit the dress code and our options were limited to hideous high tops. These would have been a welcome addition to our wardrobe at that time. Converse just released these all black Jack Purcell sneakers which feature a black suede upper complete with a black toecap and rubber sole. Laces, cork footbed and eyelets don’t stray from the motif either. Approximately a billion times better than those discount Reeboks we wore on the job.
