Bulova watches hold a special place in the hearts of many men and women for a lot of different reasons. They look good. They perform well. They’re historic (they’ve been to the moon!). Most importantly, the price tag attached was still affordable enough that they became gifts for birthdays, holidays, and graduations for many. In the WWII era, Bulova produced a number of military-themed commercial watches, including the Air Warden. J. Crew ripped Bulova’s Air Warden straight out the 40s with this exclusive release that features a 38 1/2mm Stainless case, canvas and leather strap and a Miyota 1L45 movement. The dial has been changed slightly with luminescent numbers and hands, but the overall look and feel is still decidedly vintage.
