Hoverboard? Pssh, that’s so 2015. For 2016, it’s all about sort of hovering. That’s what these 20:16 MoonWalker shoes claim they can do. Thanks to two layers within the shoe that holster powerful N45 magnets that repel each other, the futuristic sneakers give you the sensation of walking on the moon—or so the company says. Borrowing a few style cues from Vans and other iconic slip-ons, the moon shoes look surprisingly decent, minus the thick midsole. We have no idea how well they will work, but we can already tell you they are better than these ankle-wreckers.
