State Bicycle Co. is continuing their run of excellently produced, affordable bikes with a new collaboration with The Simpsons. Based on their popular Core-Line model, The State Bicycle Co. x The Simpsons Color Block Bike is a convertible fixed gear / single-speed ride built with all the State classics and decked out with all your favorite Simpsons characters. The frame is 4130 grade Chromoly steel with new double-butted tubing. There are 40mm deep-v style wheels with new sealed bearing-hubs. And the flip-flop hub is what allows you to ride either fixed gear or single speed. It’s a well-built, lightweight bike that’s great for riding around town, and that doesn’t even factor in the Simpsons treatment. They found a great way to stylishly incorporate aspects of the longest-running show in history without making your whole bike cartoon-y by using color block versions of the characters.
