Most of our LEGO constructions consisted of poorly designed cars and houses severely lacking in windows. Mike Doyle and the other artists featured in “Beautiful LEGO” have gone far beyond that. The book features 400 photos of work from over 70 artists who use the classic toy brick as their medium. Inside the 280-page book you’ll find shots of lifelike replicas of everyday objects, mansions, spaceships, and much more. The book, which is published by No Starch Press, is available for pre-order now and will be released on October 7th. It might just inspire you to reinvest in bricks for yourself.

Ah, the waffle weave. Looks cool, feels great, reminds us of toasted Eggos. You’ve seen them before–probably in a fancy store or hotel–but Parachute’s brand new Waffle Towels are different. They’re spun using innovative Aerocotton Technology, which basically means they’ll be dry by the time your significant other finally gets out of the shower and realizes you stole their towel. Parachute’s Waffle Towels come in two sizes and two neutral colors. Plus, their 100% cotton construction means they start soft and only get softer with time. Even Kevin McCallister would approve.
