It takes some smarts, which is why we figure this Typographic Chess Set is perfect for the design-loving intellectual. Sculpted in the vein of the Champion Gothic typeface, the pieces for this set are laser-cut acrylic letters in place of the standard pieces. The limited edition set (only 50 were made so far) is perfect for any font buff who happens to enjoy pulling off elaborate openings or at least likes to pretend he does.
