Rather than trying to explain what happens in the second season of Game of Thrones (you've probably already seen it, or we're not going to ruin anything for anyone that hasn't) we're just going to give you a bunch of reasons why you should watch it (again). The Walking Dead only airs once a week. You already finished season one of House of Cards. Game of Thrones season three premieres March 31. There are probably a lot of things you have already forgotten about from season two. Half of those things are one-on-one conversations in rooms, but they're still important to the story. Blu-ray boobs, dragons and violence. Any questions? We didn't think so.
Long before white Apple gear, we remember being amazed by tiny cube speakers from Bose. They were one of our first true pieces of audio love. Now, the company that holds a special place in our ears and hearts has given us an awesome TV sound system setup with a single speaker. The speaker fits neatly under your HDTV ... continue reading
You probably already know the benefits of using whiskey stones instead of ice in your drink. Basically, they cool your drink without watering it down so you get all the flavor you expect at a bit more pleasant temperature. With these Icon Whiskey Stones, you can add a bit more fun to your boozing experience. Available ... continue reading
Buying Blu-rays and DVDs is rare for us these days. Seeing as how we can stream or download just about everything, we've reserved purchasing hard copies of movies and TV shows for times when we absolutely have to. This is one of those times. The new collector's edition of the first season of Game of Thrones is stellar. ... continue reading
SPOILER ALERT: The Walking Dead is awesome! If you spend your afternoons daydreaming about getting a crossbow and taking down walkers, some of these Walking Dead Zombie Army Men should be in your purchasing future. Just like the plastic green army men you had growing up, these two inch tall figures are ready for strategic ... continue reading
On the list of things we love in life, Seinfeld and food are right up there with Kate Upton, good beer and Kickstarter pen projects. To show our love of those two, we're ready to deck our walls with pretty much all of these Seinfood Prints. Depicting such well-known Seinfeld food related things as the marble rye ... continue reading
It's getting harder and harder for us to justify purchasing DVDs and Blu-rays. With Netflix and the internet in general, we're headed towards a time when owning movies and music is a thing of the past. Of course, we do stumble across things like this every once in a while, and quickly realize there are times when we ... continue reading
If we were only able to grab a couple things from our burning building, you can bet one of them would be our flatscreen TV. What can we say, we're all a bit addicted and consumed with getting fixes of HBO original programming and Netflix offerings. The issue with the burning building scenario is leaving our Roku 2 ... continue reading
William H. Macy has played every role from President to Vice Principal to police officer to dinosaur chaser, but it isn't until he steps into the role of dad as Frank Gallagher on the show Shameless that his true brilliance shines through. Somehow, Macy believably becomes a belligerent drunk and pot head capable of ... continue reading
Shameless is easily one of the most ridiculous shows on television. William H. Macy and his entire family of 7 and their friends dabble in everything from pot to professional auto theft including, but not limited to: sleeping with children's girlfriends, cheating on the SATs, constant belligerent drunkenness, scamming ... continue reading
Most days you get home, grab a beer, find the remote and proceed to settle into the crevice your ass has formed in the couch. Guys have been doing it since Don Draper days and the only thing that has really changed is now we might grab a micro-brew and mess around with our iPads while we half watch Louie. If you're ... continue reading
Underneath all the lines of coke, sex and ridiculous mullets there's actually a really touching story in HBO's Eastbound & Down. A once great star who's lost the love of his life tries to pick up the pieces and get it all back, and that would make for a really emotional journey if the protagonist wasn't Kenny ... continue reading
We've been interested in chemistry since the first time we found out about the reaction that happens when vinegar is mixed with baking soda. Fifth grade volcanoes still amuse us, but we kind of lost interest after that science fair. To be fair, outside of that one experiment we never really accomplished anything fantastic. ... continue reading
We'll admit that this Fanhattan app is far better than the Fanhattan app we dreamt up - one that shows you all the touristy spots in NYC - and unlike ours it happens to be free (we were planning on charging $375 a download - hey, you gotta make money somehow). Fanhattan is a new iPad app that lets you search ... continue reading
There are certain things that even if you had all the money in the world you wouldn't think you'd ever be able to acquire - The Mona Lisa, Hank Aaron's 755th home run ball, a manly Snuggie - but every once in a while one of these things becomes available to you. If you want to barrel through your streets while ... continue reading
Between Sunday Night Football and episodes of Mad Men our Sunday nights are now pretty much spent parked in front of the TV with beer or whiskey in hand (though this probably wouldn’t change if either went off the air). With a lockout looming and Season 5 still a ways away we are going to tide ourselves over with ... continue reading
