While pretentious luxury watch makers adamantly declare that Swiss Movement is the only movement, Christian Bedat pushes the limits of what we define as a luxury watch. Red8 watches, designed by a European with Japanese movement each have a message inscribed on the back ““Designed on Earth, Produced in Asia.” The dial is covered with a beautiful curved sapphire crystal on top of polished steel. The bezel features different engraving, such as four animals from the Chinese zodiac or different continents. Red8 Watches are available in a variety of colors and designs, each with interchangeable rubber straps that can be replaced easily with something more traditional (although, if you wanted traditional, you probably wouldn’t be getting a Red8 watch).
