This Racing Drone Pilot Chased a Rollercoaster in Sweden

There’s nothing quite like the sensation you get when you’re sitting in the first or last car of a roller coaster as it cruises through a brilliantly engineered tracked filled with twists, turns, loop-de-loops, verticals and pulls–except, maybe, if you can experience the entire thing on the screen in front of you without ever having to leave the chair you’re in right now. That’s where racing drone pilot Viggo Koch comes in. The HELIX is one such epic roller coaster at Liseberg in Gothenburg, Sweden that Koch fired up a racing drone to chase through the entire course of its journey from start to finish. The footage takes you through the entire run from start to finish and, despite the fact it won’t give you nausea like the actual coaster will, it’s a damned good representation of everything you’ll feel on the coaster itself. If anything, it just makes us want to travel to Sweden even more.
