Defining “art” is insanely difficult. Scribble a name on a urinal and some say you’ve created it. What we do know is that having the ultimate goal of sharing wall space with the Mona Lisa or gaining ridiculous amounts of cash takes away from the real purpose of an artistic pursuit. We prefer the passion described by Shepard Fairey (even if he has garnered a nice chunk of change).
