In 1970, Johnny Cash received an invite to the White House to perform some tunes. This historic “gesture” did not sit well with Cash, however, after he discovered Richard Nixon’s true intentions to use Cash to appeal to certain segment of the country. Always the patriot, The Man in Black responded in a way he found most appropriate. ReMastered: Tricky Dick and The Man in Black is an hour-long documentary coming to Netflix that takes viewers through the entire ordeal. It’s the tale of an outlaw vs. a politician, and it’s loaded with great music. The documentary hits Netflix on November 2.
