Based on this first look at the new Shia LaBeouf film, “Charlie Countryman,” it appears it will fall into that very rare category: Love stories for guys. Despite the romantic undertones, the film looks dark, violent and seriously disturbing. LaBeouf plays Charlie Countryman, an American who gets mixed up with a married girl overseas along with a Romanian drug gang. Basically, it’s not exactly Pretty Woman.
