The latest collection of timepieces from Amir Watches draws inspiration from the Nomadic Empires, who, for over 3,000 years, lived a non-sedentary life, passing their years in yurts. In each yurt was a Shanyrak, a cross piece structure that held the building together and remained the same as other pieces of the yurt were changed and repaired over time. This piece passed from father to son for generations. That same timeless quality is present in this heritage watch collection. The rotating disc on each watch, which acts as the second hand as it rotates in a sweeping motion, represents that Shanyrak, the vertex of a yurt, and it’s complemented by a diamond cut red hour hand (symbolizing fire) and a blue minute hand (symbolizing the sky). All of this is packed in a titanium case with an anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal that pairs nicely with just about any outfit. Back the project on Kickstarter now and save big on a watch you’ll want to pass down through the years.

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
