Shinola-Canfield-Bolt-3

Every time Shinola releases a new watch we find another stylish timepiece that immediately becomes a favorite. Their latest, The Canfield Bolt, is another instant hit, but this time around the watch is also customizable. Each one of the options in The Canfield Bolt line (there are almost 250 different possibilities) features a 43mm case with a sandblast sunray dial and three-hands powered by an Argonite 713.2 quartz movement. Each watch is a natural evolution of Shinola’s commitment to craftsmanship, precision and design, but the coolest part is the fact that The Canfield Bolt is part of the Willard Program. Named for Willard Bixby (one of the founders of the company Shinola got its name from), the Willard Program is Shinola’s custom watch program that lets you customize your watch out of the gate. Choose from one of five faces ranging from black and blue to green and gold. Then put that face on one of almost fifty different strap options, ranging from nylon and leather NATO to rubber or football leather, all available in multiple color options. This is the most unique Shinola offering yet.

Xeric watches have always been bold, unique and stylish, but their newest watch is absolutely otherworldly. Xeric teamed up with NASA to create watches for the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11. The dial features a star map of the constellations surrounding Trappist-1. The grill references the ISS cupola window to give you the sense of looking out into space. The dome crystal is Hesalite, a material originally developed by NASA in the ’60s. Time is displayed with planetary hour and minute hands and stars on the sweeping seconds hand. It’s like wearing space on your wrist.
