Marvel Comics Library Avengers Vol. 1. 1963–1965

Taschen is synonymous with collector edition art books and the publishing house has unveiled a stunning coffee table book that’s releasing next month. Avengers Vol. 1 collects the first 20 stories from the original Avengers comics released between 1963 and 1965. This XXL-sized tome features pristine photographs, digitally enhanced for modern publication, of the genuine original first edition comics with artwork from legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Accompanying the classic comics is a new forward penned by Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige plus an in-depth history, photographs, and rare documents from the time.

This initial run of the impressive collection releases in July 2022 and will be limited to 5,000 copies. An exclusive edition will be released in August 2022 and will be limited to 1,000 numbered copies featuring an aluminum print cover tipped into a leatherette-bound spine, foil embossing, and a slipcase.
