The Web’s Best Slider Recipes

We never thought a culinary revolution would spawn from a White Castle (even though we think more food should come in Crave Cases), but sliders have become a bit of a trendy food over the last couple of years. If there’s a party that has some passed mini burgers, you better believe you can find us right at the door where the servers come out. When we cook some up for a party/standard afternoon at home, we like to get a bit creative with the shrunken snack. Here are our favorite recipes for sliders:

Spicy Whiskey BBQ Sliders

We didn’t realize we could make such a mess with such a small food, but every smear on our face and drop of sauce on our denim was worth it. These are insane. Any recipe that involves our good buddy JD will always have a  welcome home in our stomach. The heavily buttered bun is just a bonus (Recipe)

Pork Belly Sliders with Pickled Cabbage and Maple Mustard

Pork belly is a gift from the heavens. When given such a wondrous present, it’s only fair to serve it up in the most mouthwatering way possible. So here you go. These sliders combine the richness of pork belly with sweet maple and add a bit of acidity to cut right through it in the most pleasing way possible. We can’t confirm this, but we believe the pictures are enough to make you eat your computer screen. (Recipe)

Roast Beef and Caramelized Onion Sliders

For some sliders that you can put together in no time, you can’t go wrong with these. Easy enough to assemble (you really just need to caramelize the onions) that you can be off to eatin’ and boozin’ in a matter of minutes. Which is good cause you’ll instantly be hungry the second you think of making some sliders.  (Recipe)

Crab Cake Sliders

The marriage of crab cakes and sliders is a natural one. One where the two won’t be separated until digestion do them part. The size of a standard crab cake makes it suited for the tiny buns used in most sliders, and the tartar sauce makes for a solid condiment. White Castles in Maryland should consider selling these. Cheesy Stuffed Meatball Sliders

Speaking of foods that are trendy, meatballs are enjoying a bit of hipster appeal as of late. Instead of wearing your tank top and cropped, colored shorts to your local Subway for a meatball sub, cook yourself some Cheesy Stuffed Meatball Sliders and make your wallet and tastebuds happy. These follow the old law that stuffing anything with cheese is always a good idea. (Recipe)

Tobacco Onion Ring Sliders

Easily the least appetizing name ever. We’ll pass on chewing on a pack of cigarettes, thanks. Luckily we have an insatiable appetite and decided to give this recipe a chance cause it happens to be outstanding. There is zero tobacco in this recipe, but they do happen to be addictive. (Recipe)

The Ultimate Sliders

This is your classic slider. Nothing outrageous and nothing added that will make you order some ingredient from overseas. Straightforward and delicious is the best way to describe The Ultimate Sliders. Ideal for when your guests aren’t in the mood for experimentation with their food. (Recipe)

Bombay Sliders with Garlic Curry Sauce

You know that classic slider recipe above? Yeah, this is the exact opposite. It’s loaded with unexpected flavor like a question mark-wrapped Dum Dum. Curry, cilantro and fresh ginger make these little turkey burgers explode in your mouth! (Or something less sexual sounding.)  (Recipe)

Crispy Cheese Burger Sliders

These look ridiculous . . . ly amazing! We’re not 100% sure the best way to eat them, but the crispy cheese ring is phenomenal on its own. If you can get a bite with some burger and bun at the same time, well welcome to heaven. (Recipe)

Toasted Ravioli Pizza Mini-Burgers

Save the gourmet stuff for your next fancy-pants party, for our next gathering, we’re turning to a plate of these guys. Sure they look like something you’d buy at a state fair sponsored by a heart surgery center, but they’re so freaking tasty. Your move Paula Deen. (Recipe)
