We get the whole man thing where eating food beyond its recommended date is almost as self-imposed dare. Well, YouTuber Taras Kul happened to get his hands on a 65-year-old military-grade Belarusian Meal Ready-to-Eat (MRE), but he just happens to be smart enough to dissect the kit and investigate its survivalist ingredients rather than actually consume them. The kit includes gum, tea, coffee, cereal, fruitcake, cheese, and chocolate. With the possible exception of the gum, the rest of the items definitely appear to be the worse for wear and not even remotely warranting experimental consumption, much less enjoyment. The best parts of the video aren’t so much the reveals of each item but what sounds like Kul’s feigned excitement. Wow!
