We’ve always found the term “running shoe” a little off. Sure, some shoes labeled as such get purchased for a bit of cardio, but the majority of them are purchased because they happen to look good and can be rocked while grabbing a beer or doing something casual that doesn’t involve drinking (we can’t think of an example right now; is that a sign of a problem?). Trail shoes are inherently different, we purchase them for their intended purpose. When we can get a trail shoe that happens to be based off a running shoe style we already dig, well that’s perfect. The New Balance ML581AT Trail Shoe is built off the design of the popular M581’s we’ve kicked around in but with details for added outdoor durability. They also happen to be the most stylish way to go hunting, if you oddly happened to be in the market for an eye-catching hunting shoe.
