These Sneakers are Inspired by Showtime’s ‘Billions’

If you watch Billions, the show about a seesaw battle for power between U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) and hotshot hedge fund leader Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis), you know that efforts are made to make the two seem similar yet wildly different. It happens with the food they eat (Chuck dines on a deli sandwich while Axe eats freaking ortolan), the way they interact with their families, and with the clothes they wear. Chuck’s buttoned-up look is often in contrast with Axe’s casual cool, a look often highlighted by a slick pair of sneakers like these. Greats teamed up with the Showtime program to craft a limited edition shoe that’s casual yet sophisticated, just like Axe. The ‘Billions’ Royale is handcrafted from Italian suede and outfitted with gold aglets. Limited to only 100 pairs, the sneakers even sport a liner with one of Axe’s more memorable lines: “What’s the point of having fuck you money if you never say ‘Fuck You.'”
