There isn’t much to say about Asics Onitsuka Tiger sneakers that hasn’t already been said, but we’ll give you a brief recap. Asics is an iconic shoe line that was formed when Onitsuka Tiger merged with GTO and Jelenk in 1977. What that means to you can be boiled down to iconic Japanese kicks. Lots of Asics have Onitsuka history, but this particular is a throwback to the original 1977 Tigers (see what they did there with the name), so it’s bringing a whole new level of “fresh.” Thanks to advances in shoe production, all the leather, suede and sexy contoured lines can now be produced for the same price as a pair of shoes at Kohl’s. It’s a stylish shoe version of the new Ford Mustang or Dodge Challenger – modern tech, throwback style. They’re, in a word, awesome.
