Nissan GT-R on Ice

File this under are you f’ing nuts? Apparently setting speed records on a densely packed salt bed is just too boring. So much that in Russia, there are ice speed records. Seriously? Who came up with the idea that while driving on ice, we should go as fast as possible? We can’t be sure but we suspect considerable quantities of vodka were involved. Through a joint project of Nissan Russia and LAV Productions, Andrey Leontjev and Roman Rusinov attempt to break the Russian Ice Speed Record with a production Nissan GT-R. The place? Baikal Lake, Russia. Temperature? -22 degrees Celsius. Ice? 1.4 meters thick.
