The Parrot MiniDrone Is Small Enough To Fit In Your Hands

The Parrot MiniDrone Is Small Enough To Fit In Your Hands

We’ve all seen the Parrot AR Drone quadricopter that you can pilot with any of your mobile devices. You probably played with one at a store, or if you’re one of the lucky ones, managed to pick one up for yourself. They’re phenomenal at parties, for making movies or just wasting a day. The only thing they didn’t have going for them is the fact that they’re not easy to transport safely. Enter the MiniDrone that Parrot just unveiled at CES. It’s still a quadricopter. It’s still easy to fly thanks to autopilot and an easy learning curve. But because it’s so tiny it can also fly at higher speeds and perform aerial acrobatics. The little drone that could–it will, quite literally, fit in the palms of your hands–also has detachable wheels if you want to make it climb the wall or run on the ceiling.
