Recycled-Cassette-Tape-Necktie

While there’s no shortage of recycled gear or items that express a love for vintage audio players, there are none quite like the Recycled Cassette Tape Necktie. Made of 50% thread and 50% recorded audio cassette tape, these one of a kind ties actually play music… well sort of. Designers Alyce Santoro and Julio Cesar used audio from the CD Between Stations with looped samples of music from NYC subways. You have to modify an old walkman to hear the music and even then it’s kind of rough since you know, you’re playing music from a tie.

Ah, the waffle weave. Looks cool, feels great, reminds us of toasted Eggos. You’ve seen them before–probably in a fancy store or hotel–but Parachute’s brand new Waffle Towels are different. They’re spun using innovative Aerocotton Technology, which basically means they’ll be dry by the time your significant other finally gets out of the shower and realizes you stole their towel. Parachute’s Waffle Towels come in two sizes and two neutral colors. Plus, their 100% cotton construction means they start soft and only get softer with time. Even Kevin McCallister would approve.
