Sculptures Made from Old Hubcaps

Sculptures-Made from-Old-Hubcaps

Hubcaps as art isn’t a brand new concept… you might even have a few hanging on the walls of your own place. But we’ve never seen anything like these hubcap sculptures by Ptolemy Elrington. These bad ass metal sculptures look like deadly robots built by other robots to create a giant robot army meant to destroy the human race. Despite appearances, there’s no need to fear being annihilated or assimilated. Ptolemy gets hubcaps from the side of the road, friends and family and even strangers. So the next time you sees a hubcap come flying off of someone’s car, don’t just point and laugh, be helpful and send it to this guy. (What, did you think we’d tell you to be helpful by bringing it back to the owner? Pffft.) Check out the rest of these cool sculptures made from old hubcaps.
