Every year, a few of the truly Jeep-obsessed make a pilgrimage to their Mecca: The Jeep Easter Safari. Set in Moab, UT, the Safari combines Jeeps in their natural environment and allows Jeep to highlight some truly amazing concepts. For example, while looking like a nicely restored ’70s Cherokee, this Jeep Chief concept is actually based on a Wrangler that certainly embraces the nostalgic feel of a Jeep that spends most of its time at the beach. Furthering the surf vibe is the chopped, white French bread roof and vintage Ocean Blue exterior that pairs perfectly with the removable sides and razor grille. Power comes from a 3.6l V6 with 6 speed manual and gets put to the classic slotted wheels by Dana locker axles in front and back.
