Unfinished concrete walls, for some reason, have a pleasing aesthetic. We’re not sure why: industrial simplicity? Rugged beauty? Did we really just write “rugged beauty”? Truth remains that it’s attractive. And the truth also remains that it doesn’t exactly occur frequently in most residential construction. So unless you’re living in a parking garage, consider papering a wall or two with photo-realistic concrete wall wallpaper. A variety of styles and textures are available, some plain concrete, some bricked, others brightly colored with graffiti. Either way, it’s a step up from beige.
