A coat rack is one of those things that’s usually pretty simple – a standard hook or set of hooks affixed to the wall in a nondescript way. Or, if you’re in college, a handful of ten-penny carpenter nails hammered haphazardly into the sheetrock. The coat rack deserves more respect than that though, as the folks at Radius Design will attest. Each of their “City” coat racks portrays the gems of that town’s skyline. It was designed in Germany and therefore has a disproportionate number of German cities, but Germany has a disproportionate number of really beautiful cities. Each rack (Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dortmund, Munich, Stuttgart, New York, London and Paris) comes with 19 pegs for your 19 dinner guests.
