First it was the news that Matthew McConaughey wouldn’t be reprising his role as Rust Cohle. Then it was the casting of Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch. Needless to say, while the first season of True Detective was a delightful mindfuck that left us wanting so much more, we weren’t sure how to feel about the upcoming season. Now, for the first time, we have a little look at it. Our initial thoughts: Nic Pizzolatto has this under control. It premiers June 21.
