A lot has happened to the local kids of Hawkins, Indiana over the past two seasons of ‘Stranger Things’, and teenage awkwardness is about to set in, apparently. With The Who’s classic ‘Baba O’Reilly’ blasting in the background, we see the crew from the series that includes Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin). They’ve clearly grown up, at least physically, and some key relationships have formed within the original group, while something truly sinister and new is happening in the background with both a creepy new mayor in veteran Cary Elwes and, of course, a really disgusting monster from the Upside Down. Noah Schnapp’s Will Byers laments the past, while mom Winona Ryder’s Joyce and David Barbour’s Chief Hopper continue to try to hold things together. And don’t forget the ongoing war between Billy Hargrove and Steve Harrington’s hair, which is always going on in the back of our minds. The third season drops on Netflix July 4th.
