Red Sparrow sees Lawrence take on the role of a Russian spy, seducing her way to her targets. Based on the trailer, it feels a little like Under the Skin meets Bond meets Black Widow. In other words, we’re in. Red Sparrow is based on the book of the same name by Jason Matthews, and also stars Joel Edgerton and Mary-Louise Parker.
