In the words of Grover Click, assistant vice president and one of the founders, the Dull Men’s Club is a “group that get together to celebrate the ordinary.” In other words, the group is based around people who favor interesting hobbies that others might consider boring when compared to the likes of sports, concerts, or other social events. Steve is a milk bottle collector that doesn’t like milk. Amanda randomly follows brown tourist signs around the UK and the rest of the world. Mark is a “tomb traveler” that takes pictures of famous graves around the world. Dick is the resident Village Pump Spotter, and he takes pictures of pumps all over the world. What originally started in New York has grown to a worldwide phenomenon with around 5,000 members. Here’s the Great Big Story about the simple joys of the Dull Men’s Club.

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
