All great roles for Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant and Molly Parker, but in our minds they will always be Al Swearengen, Seth Bullock and Alma Garret of Deadwood, South Dakota. It’s been over a decade since David Milch’s Deadwood wrapped up it’s three season run, and there have been rumors of a TV movie follow-up for almost as long. HBO has finally released the official teaser trailer for the film that includes one of their greatest characters of all time. More importantly, they also revealed that, not only is it actually happening, it’s going to premiere on HBO on May 31. Even better, not only is the original cast reprising their roles, creator / writer David Milch and director Danieal Minahan are back in their respective roles as well.
