Synchron Poseidon Ice Diver

Synchron Poseidon Ice Diver

Swiss microbrand Synchron is back with a watch that’s made for cold water diving. The Poseidon Ice Diver mimics the shape of the ’70s Doxa-inspired Synchron Military watch. The Poseidon comes from Synchron’s work with Sweden-based dive gear company, Poseidon Diving Systems. The dial gets Synchron’s famous blocky markers, this time in old radium lume and black. The big yellow sword minute hand pops nicely against the dial, as does the Poseidon logo. The 316L brushed stainless steel case measures 42mm in diameter x 45mm fro lug-to-lug x 14mm thick. Power comes from a La Joux-Perret G100 mechanical automatic with 68 hours of power reserve. It also benefits from shock protection, which should bode well for run-ins with ice. The watched comes with a grey Isofrane strap that’s dive-ready and perfectly mated to the Poseidon. Only 1,000 pieces will be made, and they’ve already been sold out in pre-order.
