Jacques Bianchi JB 200

The Jacques Bianchi JB 200 is a civilian resurrection of a bona fide dive watch from the ’80s used by the French National Marine Department for its divers. The original numbered a mere 100 units, but Bianchi has done a reissue for the masses. It gets upgrades like a Seiko NH35 autoamtive movement (replacing the original quartz), Super LuminNova on the dial/hands/bezel, and larger indices on the dial for improved legibility. Thankfully, the original and very unique diver silhouette on the dial, the destro (left-handed) crown, and the tropic dive strap remain intact. The watch is now on Kickstarter for 28 more days, and it’s already more than doubled its goal.
