Don’t get us wrong, we understand and fully appreciate the utility of a fitness tracker, but previous Fitbit offerings have always left something to be desired in the looks department. The function was always there, particularly around New Year’s resolution time, but the form was always too bright, too “plasticy,” or too infantile in the entire presentation. Fitbit Blaze is a completely different story. You get access to all the important fitness features you need like a heart rate monitor, step / calorie / distance tracker, multi-sport recording (running / cycling / cross-training / etc.) and detailed workout summaries, along with the new FitStar Personal Trainer, but you also get smartwatch features and a collection of bands and bracelets that are actually stylish enough to be worn as your daily watch.
