The Art of Kim Cogan

Kim Cogan is a guy just like any other, he enjoys shirtless women on the bed, cityscapes, and comic books. He just happens to be such a good painter that he makes a living doing what he loves. His artwork is partially abstract and partially realistic which is something that seems ridiculous at first but it’s basically a still version of a Hollywood blockbuster.

If Leonardo DiCaprio can be all up in your mind stealin’ your dreams, why can’t Kim Cogan paint pseudo-photorealistic pieces using less brushstrokes than it took you to paint your kitchen? We don’t care what artistic ism his work ultimately gets classified as, all we know is they’re awesome.

G5-Cool-Material

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
