Triumph motorcycles is known for building classic motorcycles, but they also build modern sport bikes and adventure bikes. Now, they’ve ventured into the world of electric motorcycles with the hulking and powerful TE-1. Built in conjunction with Williams Advanced Engineering, the TE-1 is engineered from the ground up with a low-mounted battery pack, all-new componentry, and a 36-0-volt electrical system that charges up from 0-to-80% in less than 20 minutes. Peak output is 174 horsepower, and the TE-1 delivers 107 horsepower of continuous power. It gets Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension bits, and some seriously impressive performance. Right now, it’s just a prototype, but Triumph plans on bringing some form of the TE-1 to market.
