FJ Company 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

We’ve said it before plenty of times, and we don’t mind saying it again. FJ Company makes some of the most badass Toyota restomods out there. The FJ Company 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 fits perfectly in their canon of excellent work. Built for a client who was inspired by a Tonka truck he had as a kid, this fully restored and modified FJ40 is equal parts classic legacy and modern convenience. After the FJ Company got done with their frame-off restoration, they worked with the client to make his custom design a reality with hot rod-inspired paint, Mickey Thompson wheels, Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires and a custom front bumper complete with built-in bottle opener. The truck came without an original engine, so the team went nuts with a fully modern driving experience complete with a rebuilt 3F-E engine, 5-speed manual transmission, Old Man Emu suspension and power steering. The daily driving truck that looks like a hot rod isn’t short on luxury either thanks to heated sport seats, A/C and a marine-grade audio system. The FJ Company outdid themselves again.
