The Original Lamborghini Miura SV Has Been Restored

The Lamborghini Miura SV (Super Veloce) is one of the most gorgeous cars ever produced, and it’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. In honor of that milestone, Lamborghini’s own recently launched PoloStorico heritage division undertook quite the restoration for presentation at the Amelia Island Concours. The original Lamborghini Miura SV that was shown at Geneva in 1971—that’s chassis #4846, the pre-production model for future Miura SV production—has been perfectly restored using photos and other archived historic documentation. Fifty years later, this car is still drop-dead gorgeous. And if this first completed project from Lamborghini PoloStorico is any indication, we’ll be seeing a lot more classically restored Lambos in the future.
