There were a lot of things to love about Knight Rider. KITT. David Hasselhoff. The music. Ok, so really there were three things to love about Knight Rider, but the best one–the KITT car–is rolling across an auction block in Illinois later this year. As part of an auction on September 19th, Volo Auto Museum will be selling a very unique Pontiac Firebird from the late 80s. In case the pictures alone didn’t give it away, this is one of the vehicles used when KITT transformed into Super Pursuit Mode to help Michael catch the bad guys with up to a forty percent increase in speed! In reality, all those extra body panels and ridiculous fins completely shoot the aerodynamics to shit, but that doesn’t change the fact that this car is cool as hell. Only three Super Pursuit Mode KITT cars were made for the show, with this being the only full version believed to still be in existence.

Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
