Mercedes-Benz EQA

If you’re not convinced that automakers are onto electrification, here’s another manufacturer providing evidence of its EV inventions. It’s called the EQA, and it’s planned as the entry-level model in their electric lineup. The EQA 250 will have under 300 miles of range from a 66.5 kWh battery pack. Output is 188 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Its compact design will have and new elements that reflect its powertrain such as a “Black Panel” faux grille, exterior light strips, etc. It will be priced under $50k and will come with the second-generation MBUX infotainment system with a fully digital and voice-controlled user interface. Whether or not it will come to the U.S. remains to be seen.
