Legendary Ferrari N.A.R.T for Auction

Without question, the 1950s and 60s produced some of the most iconic cars in automobile history and with good reason – racing success meant customers or what they called “win on Sunday, sell on Monday”. In 1958, Luigi Chinetti created the North American Racing Team or N.A.R.T to do just that for the Ferrari brand in endurance racing. Perhaps the pinnacle of this partnership is this 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 N.A.R.T Competizione. Crafted from arguable one of the most desired Ferraris of all time, the 1969 GTB/4 Daytona, this N.A.R.T will hit the auction next week in New York at the Rolling Sculpture sale. With its pedigree and a 5th place finish at the 1971 24 Hours of LeMans, estimates are for at least $4.9 million when the gavel drops. Take a look.
