The 1965 Aston Martin DB5 from ‘GoldenEye’ Is Going to Auction

The 1965 Aston Martin DB5 from ‘GoldenEye’ Is Going to Auction

James Bond is meant to drive an Aston Martin, and there’s no Aston model more associated with everyone’s favorite fictional spy than the DB5 that first appeared in Goldfinger.  Up for auction by Bonhams during their Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale is a DB5 that is not the car from Goldfinger. But it is the 1965 Aston Martin DB5 driven by Pierce Brosnan in the opening chase scene of GoldenEye, when Bond is racing through the hills above Monaco. The Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale takes place on July 13 in Goodwood and includes plenty of other notable vehicles like a 1931 Bentley 4 1/2-Liter Supercharged Tourer, 1955 Austin-Healey 100s Sports Racing Two-Seater and 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B Monoposto among plenty of other gorgeous vintage and modern vehicles.
