Motor Trend pulls out all the stops when it comes to their annual Best Driver’s Car Week, and this year was no different. After testing almost $2 million dollars worth of cars from Italy, Japan, America, Germany, and England on closed highways, race tracks and runways the Ferrari 488 GTB emerged victorious with the title of Motor Trend 2017 Driver’s Car of the Year. Outside of the fact that it’s a Ferrari, why did the 488 GTB win? It’s blisteringly fast, lightweight and maneuverable while allowing you to stay in control. With a price tag in excess of a couple hundred thousand dollars it’s not exactly an affordable dream car, but that wasn’t the point of the “money is no object” testing.
