Do you remember when getting into your car and actually going somewhere required two separate keys? Are we the only ones that remember a time when keyless entry for cars didn’t exist? Using bluetooth, Bitlock senses proximity of your device to the lock and automatically locks or unlocks when you’re within, or out of, a three foot radius. That alone would make the project worth supporting, but the Bitlock app also records the bike location, maps your ride, calories burned and how much CO2 you saved. This could very well be the best bike lock ever.
