Hyundai recently pulled the wraps off the 2022 Hyundai Staria Multi-Purpose Vehicle, their latest people mover that was designed to replace the likes of the Starex, iMax and all their other previous minivans. While we were always the people who said “we’ll never be caught dead in a minivan,” that’s changing with the Hyundai Staria. In profile or from 3/4 view, yes, it still looks like a minivan–but it looks like a minivan that’s been reimagined, streamlined and built to be more future-forward than anything your brain conjures up when you think of a minivan. What’s more, it’s equally split between personal and business use with 2-seat, 7-seat, 9-seat and 11-seat passenger options that will more than accommodate an entire family and a weekend of flea markets. With expansive panoramic windows, a spacious interior and a driver-focused cockpit complete with 10.25″ display and touch controls, the entire of this vehicle feels a lot more like the lounge of a cruise ship than it does the inside of a minivan.
