Gyva Grafika is a design studio in Kaunas, Lithuania, that was tasked with redesigning the bathroom inside Galeria Urbana, a restaurant also in the city of Kaunas. The only stipulation? They needed to keep the old tiles already on the walls of the stall. The studio came up with a clever solution, deciding to photograph part of the local neighborhood and create the art you see here. Dubbed the “WC for Architects,” the bathroom now looks like it’s outside a tiny apartment complex. The project has drawn quite a bit of praise and Gyva Grafika has decided to sell similar tiles if you want to transform your bathroom as well.
