The DC Universe surely needs an adrenaline injection, and it looks like The Flash with troubled actor Ezra Miller might just be what the Marvel Universe rival needs. Helmed by Argentine director Andrés Muschietti, much of the story is based on the 2011 “Flashpoint” comic and the 2013 “The Flashpoint Paradox” animation adaptation that involves a fracture universe created by Barry Allen (The Flash) and the time ripple he created. The movie version also stars Ben Affleck and, yes, Michael Keaton as two versions of the Dark Knight, along with Michael Shannon’s General Zod, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. If the movie is half as good as the trailer, expect great things. The movie debuts in theaters across the country on June 16, 2023.
